The small valley of Sant’ Andrea is full of interesting things to see: the olwellings around the Gohic Curch and the Convent- one of the very few well preserved examples of Gothic Architecture in Sicily, the excavations of the Greek necropolis, the ruins of the farm houses with the suggestive bare stone walls, and also the paths for trekking in open nature, the stream and the gorges. All this sites are around the Agrituristic Area, on this strip of the aìenchanted island of Sicily.

Moving just a few kilometers away from this area it is possible to reach the interesting mountain town of Buccheri, with its medieval streets and a view of Hyblaen Area. In this town every summer is held a very interesting medievil festival. Buscemi is also in the same area and it’s the Village Museum of rural culture and near it there is Palazzolo Acreide with a small, but perfect Greek theater, and a Baroque center.

We recommend also other itineraries in the immediate vicinity, preferably on foot and a visit to the main touristic destinations in the area.
